Bound between the Great Himalayan Range to its south and the Karakoram Range to its north, Ladakh is a destination that should be visited by discerning travelers and adventure seekers at least once in their life time. It is here that you shall witness the mesmerizing bounty of nature at its very best. Perhaps the most fascinating part about Ladakh is its endless expanse of barren countryside despite being surrounded by snow covered peaks round the year and having the rivers of Indus and Zanskar in full flow nearly 10 months of the year. During winter these rivers freeze offering a unique opportunity of trekking on frozen river! You can experience the bliss of calmness and unhurried pace of life sitting by its vast lakes, gurgling streams and ancient monasteries.
Tiny green villages having patches of cultivation and trees of walnut, mulberry and apricot dot the barren landscape like oases and the gentle and hospitable people of Ladakh will always make you feel at home.
